Adamite

Zn2AsO4(OH)

These samples of adamite are displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Adamite contains zinc and arsenic with the composition Zn2AsO4(OH). This sample is about 6x6 cm and is from Tsumeb, Namibia. It is classified as cuprian adamite because of the copper content.
