Vanadinite

This collection of crystals is described as vanadinite with mottranite. The vanadinite has the composition Pb₃(VO₄)Cl , with the unusual contents of lead and vanadium. Its source is the Touissit Mine in Touisset, Morocco. It is on display in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. The sample measures 30-40 cm across.
