Weloganite

This small sample of Weloganite is displayed in the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. Weloganite is a carbonate mineral which contains strontium and zirconium with the composition Na₂(Sr,Ca)₃Zr(CO₃)₆.3H₂O. This sample is about 1.5x2 cm and originated in Francon Quarry, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
